I can't hear BART notifications while i'm on a phone call

You will be able to hear an alert notification for BART if you make the following changes to your Samsung phone settings.

Here are some instructions on how to turn on Samsung notifications while on a phone call. The following screenshots are from a Samsung S23 Ultra:

 

Tap on the kebab menu.

Next tap on “Call alerts and ringtone”

Next toggle on “Allow alarm/notification sounds in calls

Now let’s move to Notification settings.

 

Open Samsung phone Settings and tap on “Sounds and vibration”

Next tap “Notification sound”

Next tap the BART tab and adjust the Volume slider. I suggest also changing the vibration pattern to Zig-zig-zig
